Having pioneered its education, Loughborough has developed a strong profile for systems engineering in all aspects. We are home to the Systems Engineering Innovation Centre (SEIC) and have a Research School of Systems Engineering which unites research from departments across campus.
SEIC
With generous start-up funding from the East Midlands Development Agency (emda), BAE SYSTEMS and Loughborough University established a new centre which is now a unique resource for Systems Engineering in the UK with global relevance for most sectors of industry and academia.
The Systems Engineering Innovation Centre (SEIC) at Loughborough focuses on systems engineering aspects that provide a framework for the integration of people, processes, tools and technology in order to improve the management of risk, product configuration and technology insertion for the development of innovative products.
